Debitos is a financial technology company and Europe's leading secondary market for loan trading.

Through its auction-based online trading platform, banks, companies and funds can sell their receivables, loans, claims & real estate to specialized investors. More than 2000 qualified buyers submit their bids in direct competition, and maximise the results for the seller.


In order to continue the success story that has just begun - to date, loans worth over 10 billion euros have been offered on the platform - we are looking for competent employees who are not afraid of challenges. Do you possess analytical thinking, excellent numeracy and command of English and Spanish? Perhaps you have already gained internship experience in Financial Services or Fintech as well? Then apply as a working student (m/f) to support the team in Spain.

 

Your tasks:

  • General support to the Spanish team’s Business Development activities.
  • This includes, but not limited to, identifying, acquiring and having regular calls with new prospects, compilation of technical and financial proposals as well as client pitch books.
  • Building brand awareness, planning and supporting Marketing activities for Spain/Portugal including, but not limited to, conference attendance preparatory work, industry-specific PowerPoint presentations as well as client communications drafting and delivery.
  • Platform support including testing new features and translation into Spain as well as client onboarding, KYC and verification calls.
  • Auction management including listing preparation, communication with sellers and buyers, uploading and organising data room and listing material as well as end-to-end coordination of auctions including NDA signing process management, investor list compilation, placing investor calls as well as compiling post auction reports.
  • Procurement and analysis of project-related reports as well local market research and competition analysis.


Job requirements

Your skills:

  • In the penultimate or final year of studying towards an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Informatics / Computer Science or Economics / Finance.
  • Excellent numerical skills, analytical thinking and structured way of working.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with a good understanding of technology and Finance.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ideally, you will have internship experience in a Financial Services or Fintech organisation.
  • Highly motivated with a sense of responsibility, not hesitant to take initiative when needed.
  • Team player, enjoying work in a dynamic environment and growing company.
