Your role:

The business in Greece is strongly growing and we are looking to hire a Head of Business Development Greece who will help us to deal with existing and to establish new business opportunities in Greece. Operating from our office in Athen, you will be the bridge to our business partners in Greece with the mission to position Debitos as the #1 player on the Greek market. As Business Development Manager, you will have responsibility for Debitos’ growth in Greece – identifying opportunities, driving the revenue and supporting the management to make the right decisions.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Define the growth strategy for the local market together with the management, generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region, and drive successful marketing projects
  • Research the market, provide market insights and identify the most promising potential clients and partners
  • Adopt the platform and materials to the cultural differences of the local market
  • Work cross-functionally in order to maximize the market’s full potential

Job requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in business studies, economics, marketing or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on work experience in business development or business advisory; banking and sales is of advantage, start-up experience is a plus
  • Native or equivalent English skills, local languages is mandatory
  • Flexibility to travel between Germany and Greece
  • Hands-on mentality, able to balance long-term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Working independently and with high attention to detail, while at the same time being a team-player
  • Working together directly with the Management Board to bring your ideas to work
